AI descriptions and hero images

The reason most catalogues never make it online is not the software - it is writing forty descriptions and finding a photo for each one. Revively drafts both for you, shows you a few options, and lets you keep the one that sounds and looks right.

Nothing is published automatically. Every suggestion is a proposal until you accept it and save.

Where you will find it

Anywhere a sellable has an Online section:

  • Items - Catalogue → Items
  • Services - Catalogue → Services
  • Classes - Catalogue → Classes
  • Packages - Catalogue → Packages
  • Events - Events

Write the description

  1. Open the record and expand its Online selling section.
  2. Fill in the name (and category or price if you have them) - the more the AI knows, the better the draft.
  3. Choose Generate on the description field.
  4. Read the proposals. Each one takes a slightly different angle - practical, benefit-led, or brand-forward.
  5. Choose Use this on the one closest to your voice, then edit it directly. Nothing is locked.

The copy is written for customers, not for staff, and it picks up the language of your business type - a gym gets training language, a clinic gets careful wellbeing language.

Generate a hero image

Product photography is the other blocker. For items and other sellables you can generate one instead.

  1. In Online selling, find Hero image and choose Generate.
  2. Revively creates several options based on the product name, description, and your business context.
  3. Select the one you want, or choose Generate new images for a fresh set.
  4. Choose Done, then save the record.

Generated images are saved to your account image library, so you can reuse one later as a gallery image, a class hero, or a storefront banner without regenerating it.

Getting better results

  • Name the product properly first. "WPI Protein Powder" produces a far better draft than "Protein".
  • Add a rough description before generating an image. The image model reads it for context.
  • Generate again rather than settling. Each run gives a fresh set - it costs you a few seconds.
  • Always read before you accept. AI copy is a strong first draft, not a compliance-checked claim. Anything clinical, medical, or regulated should be reviewed by a human before it goes live.
  • Keep your brand voice. If your studio writes short and dry, trim the draft. Consistency beats polish.
