Services and resources
Revively separates what you sell (services) from what delivers it (resources). Getting this right makes the scheduler accurate.
Services
A service has a name, category, duration, price, and an optional turnover buffer. You can add variations under one service - for example 30, 60, and 90 minute options.
- Group services into categories for easier browsing online and in reports.
- Set GST-aware pricing; tax defaults are included.
- Tell each service which resources and staff it requires.
Resources
Resources are the bookable things behind a service: treatment rooms, saunas, beds, lanes, chairs, or equipment.
- Create a resource type (for example "Sauna") with a default slot length and cleaning time.
- Add individual resources under it (Sauna 1, Sauna 2). Each gets its own column on the calendar.
- The cleaning phase renders on the grid automatically after each booking.
Why it matters
Because a service knows its resource requirements, Revively only offers a slot when all of them - room, equipment, and staff - are genuinely available, with cleaning time accounted for.
