Connect QuickBooks Online for accounting
Revively owns invoices and payments at the front desk; QuickBooks Online stays your books of record. Connect the two to push daily summaries - one consolidated invoice per business day with payment splits and fee purchases.
You can connect either Xero or QuickBooks Online, not both at once. Disconnect the other provider under Settings - Integrations - Accounting before switching.
Connect your QuickBooks company
- Go to Settings - Integrations - Accounting and choose QuickBooks.
- Authorise Revively to access your QuickBooks Online company.
- Confirm the connection status shows as active.
Map tax codes
- Open Tax codes in the accounting settings.
- Match each Revively tax rate to a QuickBooks tax code (Revively stores the QBO TaxCode Id).
- Use Auto-match to suggest mappings by rate and name, then Save.
Map chart of accounts
- Open Accounts and click Refresh from QuickBooks.
- Map each Revively role (revenue, card clearing, gift card liability, and so on) to a QuickBooks account.
- Values are QuickBooks Account Ids, not Xero-style account codes.
What is available today
QuickBooks MVP syncs daily summaries only - not individual invoices, payments, or refunds. After each business day closes, Revively posts one invoice (DS-YYYY-MM-DD), payment splits by method, and processing or ticket fee purchases.
For how lines are built, see How daily summaries work. For Xero-specific options (per-invoice sync, SaaS bills), see Connect Xero.
