Training partners
Training partners links two Revively workspaces: the school that does the training and holds the bookings, and the university or company that sponsors the students and wants to see how they are getting on. The partner gets a read-only window into their own cadets - no ability to book, edit, or see anyone else's customers.
Training partners is enabled per account by Revively support. If you do not see it in the sidebar, ask support to turn it on.
The two sides
Open Training partners and you will see two tabs:
| Tab | You are | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| We train | The school | Train the students and hold all the records. Invite the university to watch. |
| We monitor | The university or company | Watch progress read-only. Allocate cadets to the school. |
An account can sit on both sides at once if it trains for some partners and sponsors students with others.
Invite a partner
If you are the school, on the We train tab:
- Choose Invite university…
- Enter the partner's University or company domain - their Revively workspace URL.
- Set the Access toggles for what they will see: Syllabus, Progress, Bookings, Flight logs, and Documents. Documents is off by default.
- Save. The partnership sits at Invited until they accept.
If you are the university, on the We monitor tab, choose Invite school… and enter the Flight school domain.
Access scopes are set by the school at invite time, so agree them before you send the invite.
Accept an invitation
The side that did not send the invite sees it as Invited. Open the partnership and choose Accept. Once accepted the status becomes Active and you can start building cohorts.
Set up cohorts and students
Cohorts are intakes - a year group, a course, or a sponsored batch.
- Open the partnership and choose Add cohort…
- Give it a Name, and optionally a Syllabus track, Start date, and End date.
- Add students:
- The school uses Add student… to pick someone already in its own customer list.
- The university uses Allocate student… to pick a cadet from its own list. Revively creates a matching training record on the school's account so the school can book and train them.
A student can be Active, Completed, or Withdrawn. Withdrawing a student removes partner access to them for that cohort but keeps the school's records intact.
What the partner can see
The partner opens a student and gets a read-only view with Levels, Bookings, and Logbook tabs, limited to the access scopes the school granted.
| Access toggle | Partner sees |
|---|---|
| Syllabus | The syllabus track the student is following |
| Progress | Level and skill progress |
| Bookings | That student's lessons only |
| Flight logs | The student's logbook entries |
| Documents | The student's document records |
Partners never see other customers, your pricing, your invoices, or your staff records.
On the school side, a linked student shows a Training partner card on their customer profile so staff know who is sponsoring them.
Pause or end a partnership
The school controls the lifecycle from the partnership page: Pause suspends partner access, Resume restores it, and End partnership closes it for good. Ending it means the university loses its view of those students - your own bookings and records stay exactly where they are.
